Overlooking the River Neet and Nanny Moores Bridge to the front, and a few steps into Bude town, with a selection of excellent restaurants, bars and shops almost literally on your doorstep. Granville Terrace has a secure courtyard for storing your outdoor gear, and an attractive front patio garden where you can take Cornish cream tea and watch the world go by. The interior is stylishly furnished, with some lovely features. There are three bedrooms: a spacious ensuite double, a second double with ensuite shower/WC and vanity sink, and a third single room option available on request. 5, Granville Terrace is a spacious holiday home in a superb location! It has a south-facing raised patio garden to the front where you can take breakfast or cream teas in the sun, and a walled courtyard where there are bicycles and surfboards (for hire if required).

 

There is a sloping pathway to the entrance door, which opens onto a large, light hall and stairway. The lounge is a lovely, sunny rooms and overlooks the River Neet in its last meanders before meeting the sea at Summerleaze beach (where it also meets and merges with the Bude Canal overflow, and the tidal sea gates). The lounge is equipped with a flat screen TV, DVD and CD players, and two sumptuous soft leather sofas providing total comfort! The focal point of the room is a large white marble fireplace with feature electric fire.

 

The kitchen is very well equipped, with oven hob and extractor, fridge/freezer, washing machine, and microwave. It opens onto a dining area at one end and has a breakfast bar for informal meals.

 

There are two double bedrooms, both of which are ensuite. The first has extensive built in storage cupboards and a full size ensuite with a bath and a separate shower cubicle. The second bedroom is equally spacious, and its ensuite also has a shower, WC and sink.

 

Granville Terrace also offers the option of a third, single bedroom for an additional guest. This is available on request. All of the accommodation is on one floor which, along with its location and sloping pathway makes it particularly accessible. It is a very welcoming, sunny holiday home, in an excellent location in Bude, where its location on the very edge of the town’s shopping streets, but on a quiet access road to the beach, makes it ideal for beach based holidays with ready access to shopping, eating out and day trips further afield.

 

Bude’s coastline offers five miles of sandy beach at low tide and, in Bude itself, both Summerleaze and Crooklets beaches offer soft sand, dunes, rock pools, the Sea pool, lifeguards, amazing surf, beach huts and cafe, tidal river and stream, and more! Bude has shops of all varieties, and leisure facilities include tennis, squash, crazy golf and bowls (just across the bridge) and an indoor pool and tenpin bowling alley. Dining choices are equally varied, with excellent Thai, Chinese, Italian and Spanish restaurants alongside unmissable fresh seafood.

 

Granville Terrace is a perfect base for beaches and for exploring Bude and North Cornwall. There are local sandy beaches, golf, shopping, leisure facilities and dining just a stroll away. There is also easy access to the major routes into Cornwall, towards Boscastle, Tintagel, the Eden Project and many more.

The kitchen is fitted with pink granite worktops and splashbacks, has loads of cupboard space and equipment, and opens onto a very pleasant dining area.

A sumptuous leather bed, fitted wardrobes and large ensuites off both double bedrooms. A leisurely approach to mornings is inevitable, and everything is to hand for completely self-contained sharing for two couples, or parents and children. What a treat!
