This easy, relaxed cottage has all it takes to make a cosy comfortable holiday base. The Bude canal nature reserve is just across the road, and town and beaches only a short stroll away...
Arch cottage has been a part a Bude since the mid-19th century and is nestled alongside the vicarage on Falcon Terrace, just a hundred metres from the impressive hotel. It is simply and comfortably arranged for holiday use with double, twin and single bedrooms and a luxury shower room. On the ground floor is a cosy lounge, kitchen/diner with small porch off to the garden, and a WC. There’s a flat screen TV with a DVD player (and lots of films to choose from)
The brand new kitchen is equipped with a double oven cooker, a toaster, microwave, and a washing machine, and plenty of crocks, pots and utensils stored in the numerous cupboards and dresser. There’s also a dining table with six chairs, and there are so many local pubs, restaurants, cafes and takeaways you’ll need at least a two week break to try them all!
Bedrooms are designed with relaxation in mind with simple bedding and curtains. The shower is the latest in contemporary style and sits in a roomy double enclosure.
The location is ideal for easy strolls to the beach, the town and the canalside nature reserve, with lots to see and do within a few minutes walk - crazy golf, tennis and squash courts, bowls, shopping, museum and art gallery, and lots of cafes and workshops. A short drive takes you to the indoor heated pool, sports centre, cinema and supermarkets. There is parking on the driveway for two cars and plenty of alternative spaces nearby.
There are also many places to visit within easy driving distance, such as Hartland, Clovelly, Boscastle, and Tintagel. Padstow. Dartmoor, Bodmin moor and the Eden Project all well within an hour’s drive. Enjoy a very pleasant stroll through country lanes and footpaths nearby.
