The pretty and ancient village of Poughill sits on the boundary of Bude, halfway to the historic site of Stamford Hill, and a very short drive (or a pleasant walk) to either Bude with its sandy beaches, shopping, bars and restaurants, or to the more secluded Northcott beach, where there are fantastic rock pools and the well known tea shop in the caravan! Happy Days is an unusual holiday let with some quirky features - a curved wall, triangular kitchen and bathroom, and a lovely arched window over the stairway. Accommodation is beautifully furnished with a well equipped kitchen (including dishwasher), a large lounge/diner with flat screen TV/DVD and conservatory off leading to the private garden, two double bedrooms and a single, and a bathroom with both bath and separate shower cubicle. Lovely!

Happy Days are here! This holiday cottage is an unusual design with curved walls, quirky rooms and lots on offer. An open fireplace, great equipment levels, garden, decking, garage and additional parking, a lovely quiet location close to beaches and the village inn!
The accommodation is spacious with a large lounge/diner, beautiful kitchen with solid oak cupboards, slate floors and polished granite worktops, conservatory, two double and one single bedrooms and a large bathroom with both a bath and a separate shower cubicle.
The decor is sublime, with a maritime theme and soft, comfortable seating. The lounge has an open fireplace, flat screen TV and DVD, and adjoins the conservatory making a very sociable space. The kitchen is very well equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, oven hob and extractor and all the necessary small appliance in shining stainless steel. There is even a washing machine for your use in the garage.
Bedrooms are designed with relaxation in mind with simple and elegant bedding and curtains and a great sense of peace. The location is equally tranquil and the tree lined approach road is rarely used. A very pleasant countryside walk will take you to Northcott, one of the loveliest local beaches with great rock pools and low tide sand, gigantic pebbles and a superb tea shop hosted in a green caravan (not to be missed!)
There are so many places to visit within easy driving distance, such as Hartland, Clovelly, Boscastle, and Tintagel. Padstow. Dartmoor, Bodmin moor and the Eden Project all well within an hour’s drive. Enjoy a very pleasant stroll through country lanes and footpaths nearby.
