What a location! Boscastle Harbour is a stunning natural inlet at the mouth of the River Valency. Towering cliffs protect the village and the moored boats, and provide a backdrop to some of the best coastal walks in Britain! Harbourside Cottage is a very traditional Cornish fisherman’s retreat; one of the oldest and quaintest properties in the village, and situated right on the harbour river running with the river running by. Perfect. Inside, the cottage is cosy and quaint, but with modern appliances and attractive furnishing to ensure that you have a comfortable stay in this idyllic location. Dogs welcome.

Sensitively refurbished to ensure comfort and convenience, this charming cottage still possesses a great sense of times gone by. It is an easy drive into Bude or to impressive, sandy, surf beaches at Widemouth, and there are miles of beautiful coastal footpath moments from its doorstep.
The ground floor has a fully fitted kitchen with an electric cooker, fridge and microwave, and open plan dining area with a pine table & chairs. The lounge area has comfy chairs and a TV & video, and original timber beams, and there is a door off to the courtyard garden at the rear, where you’ll find a decked patio with garden furniture and a barbecue for those summer evenings al fresco. Upstairs is a double bedroom with a pine bed, and a spacious, adjoining bathroom with both bath and shower. There is heating too for cosy winter breaks!
If you are looking for a Cornish holiday home, Harbourside provides enchanting accommodation in a tranquil yet stirring location. Nearby there are a range of shops from practical stores to old curiosities! There are several local pubs and restaurants, with excellent food, real ales and regular events.
The north of Cornwall is a great choice for a holiday home: spectacular coastal walks & cliffs, superb sandy surf beaches, and a huge choice of activities and places to visit! Only a short drive from Harbourside will take you to Crackington Haven beach, bar and restaurant; to Bude for shopping, beaches and leisure activities; to Widemouth Bay for surf lessons and sunbathing, and Northcott and Sandymouth to the north. To the south are several quiet coves, Port Isaac, Padstow and Rock. Spoilt for choice!
