Newacott House is a beautiful Georgian manor built on a grand scale. The approach along a winding driveway through mature woodland opens out to the South Garden and Terrace, with the house in view settled amongst mature trees. On turning the corner the majestic entrance comes into view. Enter through the portico into an impressive hallway, where the great staircase turns to the first floor. From here , enter the parlour - large, comfy sofas, sumptuous decor, open fireplace, and a 52” LCD TV with Sky and DVD player - perfect for the whole party to enjoy a cosy night in. A second sitting room (with a piano and Sky TV/DVD) adjoins the kitchen, and there are a multitude of other rooms so you can get away from it all if you wish. The kitchen is superb - solid oak, great slate flagstones, Aga and Rangemaster cooker, three further ovens, bread oven, built in fridge and freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, toaster and kettle. There’s a further fridge in the nearby larder room, too! The dining room seats 14 in elegant comfort, and the separate semicircular breakfast room, with matching table seating 18, is next door to the billiard room. There is an unlimited supply of logs for your use. There is also a utility room, wet room, twin bedroom, cloaks room, sun room and two WCs on the ground floor.
Upstairs are six lovely bedrooms. There are two emperor suites, one with bath and shower, the other a shower room. Then there is a king size bedroom, a four poster bedroom (with en suite shower), a double bedroom with two additional singles (en suite) and a family room with four single beds, as well as a large, family bathroom. There is a separate staircase to the East wing.
Outside there are over six acres of gardens, terraces, woodland, walks, meadow and a large wildlife pond. There is a well in the meadow. A gas barbecue is available for your use, as are reclining chairs and garden furniture, and there are extensive lawns for games. Dogs are welcome (with a secure garden for them) and there is parking for a number of vehicles.
