A romantic, one bedroomed retreat just 10 minutes walk from Bude's town centre and beaches! The Retreat is a two floors annex with open plan lounge and kitchen on the ground floor, and a double bedroom and en suite shower room upstairs. The annex has been treated to a discerning makeover, and is centrally heated to keep it cosy right through the year! Outside is a lovely shared garden, with beautiful roses and borders, and a patio area with garden furniture. The lounge has a flat screen TV, DVD and CD players, and the kitchen is well equipped with an oven, hob & extractor, fridge with freezer box,, microwave, toaster & kettle. A lovely little nest just minutes from great pubs, shops & restaurants.
The Retreat is a lovely, cosy annex near the centre of Bude, so just a few minutes from a great choice of pubs, restaurants and leisure facilities and, of course, sandy, surf beaches.
This holiday let has been treated to a discerning renovation, and is well equipped and furnished with plenty of thoughtful touches, such as a selection of DVDs and books.
On entering, you’ll find yourself in the lounge, which has a flat screen TV, a DVD and a CD player. There’s a two seater sofa and an armchair, and a bookshelf stacked with fascinating books and information. The ground floor is open plan and has a cosy dining table for two between the lounge an kitchen, which has fitted cupboards, an electric oven, hob and extractor, a microwave, toaster and kettle.
A staircase leads up to a pine latch door, behind which is the comfortable bedroom, and off here is a large en suite shower room. The whole annex has been newly carpeted for 2010, and has a lovely, light, fresh feel.
The garden is a delight with roses and other planting, a large lawn and a patio. Garden furniture is provided for al fresco dining, although you may want to try out some of the superb restaurants around Bude, including Spanish, Italian, seafood, Thai, Indian and traditional fayre.
Bude has several beaches, ranging from rocky shores with steep cliffs, to sand dunes and surf. Summerleaze has its own sea pool, beach cafe and river mouth, and Crooklets has great surfing, a shop and cafe, and is home to Bude’s Lifeguards. Stunning coastal walks, either on the beach or coastal path, stretch for many miles!

The Retreat is a great place for cosy, romantic dinners in, or for visiting the wide choice of excellent restaurants in Bude.
The double bedroom is most welcoming, and has a large en suite shower room with shower cubicle.
