A light and airy chalet style annex within a small complex above Crackington Haven’s delightful cove! The location features a superb lake and offers inclusive fishing and boating. A drive of less than a mile (or a lovely country walk!) will bring you to Crackington Haven itself, where you’ll find a friendly pub and restaurant, a beach shop and a cafe/takeway. The beach is a stunner, with towering cliffs, huge pebbles, sand and numerous rock pools, and decent surf too! It’s a lovely location, but make time to drive into Widemouth and Bude for spectacular sandy shores that between them stretch for seven miles! Add in a great range of restaurants, bars, leisure facilities and shopping, and you can’t go wrong!

Watchfield Annex is a simple holiday home, with a lovely open feel, in a superb location on the North Cornwall coast! It has a south-facing raised patio deck to the front where you can take breakfast or cream teas in the sun, or make use of the barbecue for sultry evenings in the sun and watch the sun set over the Atlantic Ocean. The views are remarkable, and enhanced by the presence of horses (which are stabled on site).
This really is a lovely, restful spot, yet it is only a short walk to the local shop/post office, and only a mile down into Crackington Haven, where you’ll find a splendid pub/restaurant, two cafe/coffee shops and a beach shop. The beach at Crackington is a delight, with a stream and pool, giant pebbles, large areas of sand, rock pools, and great surf. The coastal path provides some of the most beautiful walks in the area, some of which is National Trust. There are many other lovely walks locally, and the superb beaches at Widemouth Bay and Bude are just a short drive away.
The Annex and provides a perfect base for exploring the local area and Cornwall’s stunning coastline and countryside. The raised deck to the front is perfect for barbecues (and a BBQ is provided). The lake is very well stocked for fishing, and has a waterfall feature at one end: a great spot for picnics!
There is a sweeping driveway around to the annex, and ample parking.

As well as offering superb country walking, Watchfield has its own well stocked lake for fishing and boating. The views from the decking are truly outstanding across the lake, open countryside. There are even sea views!
Simply yet comfortably furnished, the annex is completely self-contained and has two bedrooms, lounge, kitchen/diner and bathroom.

The kitchen has an electric cooker, washing machine, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster, and opens onto the dining area and open plan lounge.
There are two bedrooms, both light and airy. The first is a double, the second a twin, and a complete set of fresh bedding is included.
The bathroom has a bath with a shower over.
Watchfield Annex is perfectly located to provide the most stunning countryside views. The lake adds to the view, and offers opportunities for fishing and boating (or both combined - bring your own tackle). There are horses stabled on site, too, and plenty of wildlife to observe.
